1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is Meytal Dahan, an independent product designer based in Rishon LeZion, Israel. You can reach the controller at Meytalyav@gmail.com.

2. What data we collect

The only way you can submit personal data on this site is through the contact form. When you use it, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your company (optional)
• The content of your message
• A timestamp recording that you provided explicit consent at the moment of submission

We do not run analytics, advertising trackers, or fingerprinting scripts. No tracking, marketing, or profiling cookies are set by this website. Functional cookies that may be set by the hosting infrastructure (Vercel) are strictly necessary for the site to load and are exempt from consent requirements under both GDPR and Israeli law.

3. Why we collect it (lawful basis)

We process your data for one purpose only: to respond to your inquiry and, where relevant, to discuss potential design work.

Under GDPR, the lawful basis is your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a)) given via the checkbox on the contact form. Under Israeli law, the same submission constitutes informed consent under the Protection of Privacy Law.

4. Who has access to your data

Your submission is delivered to Meytal Dahan's personal email inbox via Resend, Inc., a transactional-email service based in the United States. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf and is contractually bound to GDPR-compliant data handling. You can read their privacy commitments at resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.

Beyond Resend and Meytal Dahan, no other party has access to your submission. We never sell, trade, or rent your data.

5. International data transfers

Because Resend is based in the United States and Meytal Dahan is based in Israel, your submission may be transferred outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are protected by:

• Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for transfers to the US
• An EU adequacy decision for transfers to Israel (in force since 2011, reaffirmed in 2023)

6. How long we keep it

Your message is retained in Meytal Dahan's email inbox for as long as it is relevant to an ongoing or potential client relationship, and for a reasonable period afterward (typically up to 24 months) for follow-up purposes. You can request deletion at any time - see section 7.

7. Your rights

Whether you're in the EU, the UK, Israel, or elsewhere, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access - request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Rectification - ask us to correct inaccurate data
• Erasure - request that we delete your data
• Restriction - ask us to stop processing your data while preserving it
• Objection - object to our processing at any time
• Portability - receive your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent - withdraw the consent you gave at submission, with no effect on prior lawful processing

8. Children

This site is intended for a professional audience. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered through Resend's authenticated email infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we use industry-standard safeguards to protect your data.

10. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date at the top of the page will be revised. Material changes will be announced on the site homepage for at least 30 days.
